A JOURNEY TO THE CITY OF PEARLS- A travelogue by ALI MUBARAK
After a long discussion, our dream trip to Hyderabad
was going to be true. Morning we were gathered in front of National College and
after a silent prayer we set out to Ernakulam railway station by school bus. We
reached Ernakulam railway station and some of us already reached there. After
sometime we got inside the train and involved the seating arrangements. The
train moved slowly making its usual weeping. We had many games there and some
of us sang songs. After a few hours we reached Shornur railway station. Then we
left for Hyderabad.
In the train I got a window seat , my
eyes were in ecstasy to see the Nature, meanwhile the train passed through the
so called Baratha Puzha, it seemed as gloomy as if dreaming its glorious past,
I gazed and gazed at the Nila river, it’s not as beautiful as before but still
I enjoyed. Then the train passed through fabulous green meadow and a beautiful
tiny village. I enjoyed the Nature, the creation of God. My glances stuck on
beautiful green fields and many rivers. It is a scaring and wonderful
experience when we travelled over the river. Train came across a beautiful hill
of rocks, sorry I don’t know its name, but it was really amazing and fabulous.
It’s getting night and the sun is getting invisible, street light everywhere.
My friends were in many games such as Anthashari, everybody almost tired, but
still trying to come out of this fatigue. Then we had a distant vision of a
temple, the steps are embellished in a rhythm. Then after having food everyone
back to bed. Feeling sleepy……..good night.

Got up early in the morning and after
talking a while we had our breakfast, then an unpleasant experience came, that
is, our friend Sajitha got ill, Femina miss and Yeseetha miss tried a lot to
bring her back. Then glad news heard that we were approaching the Secundarabad
railway station. Now it’s the time for us to get down from the train. Everybody
searched for their luggage. Then we got down from the railway station. Outside
the railway station we got our bus, It seemed as ‘Parakum Thalika’, which is especially
for us, and then we got into the bus. Now our destination is Youth Hostel, the bus
moved towards the Youth Hostel, it is allotted for us. In the bus everybody were
overexcited to see the whole Hyderabad city. Hyderabad, as I heard, this city
having many historical importance.
Meanwhile we reached in front of Youth Hostel. Then we had our bath and
had breakfast. At first we boys were in a down stare room then shifted to the
up stare. Everybody got ready to set out. Our first destination was Golconda
Fort. We reached there and we went to the peak of the Fort and we spent a few
time there. Our next destination was Snow World. Now, it’s the time for Snow
World. We entered the Snow World and collected our winter protection jackets,
socks, gloves, shoes etc. then everyone rushed to the world of snow. It was
amazing, at first a thought flashed into my mind, how the people over UK and
USA lived there, because the temperature inside the Snow World is minus five.
Then we had amazing experience in dark forest. We enjoyed the Snow World at the
maximum. Then we returned to the Youth Hostel.

We got up early in the morning, after
having breakfast we got ready to go Ramoji. Almost all were in well dressed. It
looked really fabulous while we travelled through tiny villages. We reached Ramoji,
the gate itself increased our curiosity to see inside, and we took many photos
there. The film city is situated in almost 2000 acres of Hyderabad. We had to
travel a lot from the gate to see the embarrassing things inside. We all got
green round sticker and it is supposed to be pasted on our dress. We got a
guide; she was an employer of the film city. She gave us a clear description of
each and every part of the film city as the bus moves. There were artificial
Taj Mahal, Airport, and Gate way of India, college, villages, court, and even
train with MRF Tire Company were there. The road inside the film city resembled
the national highway. And the lunch we had from Dilse Hotel was great one. In
the evening many got chance to experience some adventurous rides like Ranger.
Then we saw the beautiful closing ceremony of Film City.

The third day of our tour, we went to
Birla Mandir the white mandir and from the top of which. We could see the whole
city we got from there was beyond words, it was really awesome. Then we
proceeded to Salarjang museum, it was really entangled with the history of
Hyderabad. Then we went to have so called Hyderabad Biriyani. After having food
we went to Charminar and Mecca Masjid. The history of Hyderabad is engraved in
both monuments’ walls. The flock of doves in front of Mecca Masjid was really
amazing. Then we spent time to shopping, it was unforgotten, I and my friends
went to collect so called Hyderabad Pearl, I bought Peals for my sisters. Then
we stepped forward to NTR garden, a beautiful garden, we saw the laser show, it
awesome to the eyes. The night in NTR garden was beyond my expectation, we
walked to the narrow ways, which was surrounded with flowers, we saw a
beautiful artificial tree, under the Makan Tree, I felt the glimpses of
friendship, and we spent the time by sharing thoughts and jokes. It was a night
I never forgot. Then we returned to Youth Hostel, in room, we had our bath and
dinner then me and Shareef went to collect woods for fire dance, then the
closing ceremony of our tour took place, Kuttappan Sir inaugurated the ceremony
by lit the fire, then each and every one spoke about our tour, and then the
fire dance started, it was really interesting. After the marvelous closing
ceremony, we boys are gathered in our room and began to sing songs, the songs
were unheard, Shareef and Vineeth sung those unheard songs nicely.

The last day of our journey in Pearl
City, our tour is going to cease. After having breakfast we went to shopping.
My friends were in great hurry to collect things; we walked through the crowded
road. Then we reached the railway station and we wait a little bit time for
train. Then we got into train, everybody got their seat, again a journey, a
Journey to the City of God.
In train a lot of unforgettable
experience took place, when night came almost all girls were in their seats, me
and Shareef wandered through the narrow ways to disturb others, someone scolded
us, someone begged us to leave them. JK sir also accompanied us, he was very
interesting, Kuttapan Sir was in great Anthakshari and Shofin sir was in a
world ecstasy. Yasarpa messaged that he was about to sleep, Vineeth stood with
his comic dialogues, Fouseeh kept his innocence smile as always, Sherlin sought
a love of refuge, my Gafurka dosth was in his family and me and my naughty
partner Shareef were in usual deeds. It’s time to sleep, everybody fell to sleep but we few boys still alive,
meanwhile train reached an unknown railway station, suddenly Vineeth got down
to the station and sit with sleepy face then me and Yasar went to inquire the
problem, the problem was Shareef disturbed his sleeping, that’s why he set out.
Then he came back to the seat. Train makes his usual weeping…..Peal City became
a Shadow line…..now the destination is God’s own country.

Nothing but......
Writing is my profession, I don't care anyone's written philosophies because I have my own, I don't stop my scribbling because it's my passion......
I think I can do something.....I think I can think something beyond what is already written.... I think I can write something beyond others think....
Though, I am one of the unfortunate unknown writer, I have written many thoughts....which are unknown to others as unseen stones in the deepest sea......
This scribbling is not mere a time killing way.....but my thoughts......I have to go miles and miles, but, how? My dream is to be a Journalist....then how can be?.
